This radio is one of the early 707's. Obvious differences are the position and type of badge and the square wavechange switches compared to the later ones. It was in a real mess cosmetically but it worked. I managed to obtain missing parts from another set, the noisy contacts and potentiometers were cleaned with WD40.
The cabinet needed cleaning with foam cleaner, the battery compartment had slight corrosion and this was neutralised. The wooden ends were re-waxed and the whole thing finished off with wax polish. Once again a nice radio.
