History of this set
This radio just needed its switches cleaning to bring it to life. It has a one station only LW setting which cuts in when the dial is turned to the Long position. There is a fine tuner in the back which needed re alignment as the then Radio2 (Now Radio 4) has moved from 1500M.
The cabinet needs to been cleaned. It looks green but in fact it is blue! I am still trying to find a solution which will reverse the effects of nicotine without destroying the fabric.
