History of this set
One of the first sets to have a moulded Bakelite cabinet.
This radio was obtained from Ebay not working and with the valves missing and the grille cloth torn. The chassis was very rusty, so the whole radio was stripped and rebuilt. A replacement cloth has been fitted. I used the speaker from the M23 to test with and it works remarkably well.
Very similar to the M23, which replaced the RS2 after the Ekco factory burnt down. The position of the mains switch is the clue, An M23 has it near the Front of the set.
This set needs a replacement moving iron speaker and a rear cover if anyone has one.
