Q. I have just one old radio. I am not a specialist. How can I clean it?
A. Get a glass bottle, mix 1/3 Linseed oil, 1/3 GENUINE turpentine, 1/3 Vinegar. Add a teaspoon
of sugar, shake well. Pour some of the mix on a rag and polish your radio. Wipe off excess with a clean rag. Be amazed
. Finish off with beeswax. (works on bakelite too)
Q. I have a part you need, will you swap it for the part I need?
A. Most Probably
Q. Are the radios in the gallery for sale?
A. No. Only the ones in the 'For Sale' section. Due to lack of space I only keep my 'Top 50' favourites
Q. I don't know how to fix the fault, what can I do?

A. No! This is a hobby and I don't have time to list everything.
Q. Why are some of the radios for sale so tatty?
A. They are donor sets for parts. They are cheap and usually working.
Q. Why have you got radios in the gallery that don't work?
A. I want the exact part to complete the project. Perhaps a visitor will have that part and let me know.
Q. Why don't you put prices on everything?
A. It would take too long. I price by batch then round prices down to books of stamps or a five pound note etc.
Q. How do I pay for the bits?
A. Up to £5.00, in 1st class postage stamps.£5.00-£30.00, I request disguised cash by recorded post,
This is to keep my bank happy, they want to charge me if I have too many cheques. Over £30.00 Personal cheque.
Q. What if I am outside the UK?
A. I will accept $US, or €uros Banknotes. NO COIN!. You must send by
recorded post!
