This radio did not work when I got it. A silly fault, the earphone socket is faulty. Unfortunately to remove the socket to replace it risks breaking the perspex dial. Shorted out, the radio is fine. I will never use the phone socket anyway. This, one of Roberts flagships, is in use every day.
The cabinet just needed cleaning with washing up liquid. A classic radio.
