No electrical work was necessary, just checked and cleaned. It has the usual Roberts turntable to align the internal frame aerial to the best signal. The directly heated valves mean this one comes on almost immediately, like a transistor radio. The cabinet was filthy, I thought it was black but it is blue. Foam cleaner and Meltonian "Petrol Blue" shoe polish corrected this. Now found a new home. |
