History of this set
I got this at a car boot sale in a very sorry state. But the guy said it worked. I tried it and it did, but the tuning indicator was not illuminating. I replaced it and all the Hunts and wax capacitors for reliability and it sounds splendid..
The cabinet was stripped, given a drink of wood reviver, coated with Danish Oil and finished with wax. The brass trim is available on a sticky back roll from 'Letraset'
This is a particularly fine sounding set with EL84 output
The set now has a new owner and lives in Essex.
